The Dungeness Crab Festival is dedicated to celebrating the cultural heritage and maritime traditions of the Dungeness region. Our mission is to foster community engagement, support local businesses, and provide an enriching, educational, and enjoyable experience through our annual festival and related events. We strive to promote sustainability, economic growth, and a sense of unity within our community,honoring the legacy of the Dungeness crab and the natural beauty of our region.

How do we do that? Through a sustained effort by festival staff, volunteers, and vendors to preserve this northern edge of the Olympic Peninsula. The Dungeness Crab Festival utilizes local businesses as much as possible, welcomes area nonprofits and service organizations to the event, and provides educational opportunities for both visitors and residents to walk away with a new understanding and appreciation for our marine resources, and the people who protect them.
