A new organization, The Dungeness Crab Festival is committed to Olympic Peninsula residents’ cultures and traditions since time immemorial.

Deciding to attend The Dungeness Crab Festival means making plans beyond the event itself. Washington’s north Olympic Peninsula is a hub for maritime history, culture, and abundant recreation, and we’re here for it all!

About CrabFest

The Dungeness Crab Festival is the annual celebration of the region’s diverse bounty – the seafood, the maritime and cultural traditions and the breathtaking coastal environment. The Festival’s featured crustacean, the Dungeness Crab, was named after the village of Dungeness, near Port Angeles, Washington. The Festival is located at the Port Angeles City Pier and the Red Lion Hotel overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, with Victoria, British Columbia just a ferry ride away.
